Tina Andersson was one of the winners in the Abbey Road Studios 80th Anniversary Anthem Competition in 2011 with her choral work The Angel.

Tina Andersson studied at the University of Gothenburg and the Academy of Music and Drama. After her studies she worked as a professional flute player for several years and conductor, composing music in her free time.
In 2011 her choral work The Angel was one of the winning entries in the Abbey Road Studios 80th Anniversary Anthem Competition. The unique prize was the opportunity to record her work in Abbey Road Studios’ famous Studio One with renowned composer/conductor Eric Whitacre and the Eric Whitacre Singers.
In spring 2012 Tina was commissioned by the EU – project, Emerging classical talents in the EU to write music for an European tour and string orchestra Camerata Nordica with performances in Sweden, Estonia, Italy and Wales.
In 2013 conductor Jan Yngwe with his award-winning choir Vocal Art Ensemble of Sweden commissioned repertoire for their 35th anniversary.
In February 2018 string orchestra Camerata Nordica is performing Five poems of Sara Teasdale for soprano and string orchestra together with soloist Karin Dahlberg (formerly Roman).
