Sixten interview


Sixten works as Cathedral organist in Härnösand in the north of Sweden since 2001. He was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm where he studied composition for Sven-David Sandström. 

His music is performed in both the Swedish National TV and in the Swedish National Radio. Internationally his music has been performed all around Europe, as well as in Asia and America. He is represented in the official Swedish hymnbook, and he´s also been engaged in a numerous projects concerning the development of new Swedish churchmusic.

Sixten is now recognized as one of Sweden's best-known composers of church music. Fredrik´s music has received acclaim throughout the world in recent years; his work is published by major houses in Sweden.
